Sunday January 31, 2010
* Point Shooting Skills Builder
* Close Quarter Battle Tactics & Drills
* Force on Force Scenario
* Shooting on the Move
* Multiple Targets
* Malfunction Drills
* Target Contact Drills
This one-day class picks up where Close Quarters Handgun: Tactical Level I left off, and will take you to the next level in your street survival shooting skills. This second phase of your point shooting learning focuses on close quarter battle. Well over half of all armed encounters are at less than five feet, and over 75% are at ten feet or less. Are you prepared, or do you even know, how to defend yourself from a knife attack at close distance?
This course will prepare you for those deadly encounters, and beyond. The day's training culminates with a force on force scenario using Airsoft training guns. In this scenario you'll learn how to place five rounds into a knife-wielding adversary as he charges at you from ten feet away.
Completion of "Close Quarters Handgun Tactical Level I" is a prerequisite for this course.
This course is open to civilians, military, and law enforcement.
STUDENT MATERIALS: Handgun, strong side rigid hip holster, three magazine/speed-loaders, magazine/speed-loader pouch, 300 rounds of ammunition, belt, boots, loose fitting BDU style clothing, ball cap, eye & ear protection, groin protection (male & female) knee & elbow pads (recommended but not mandatory).
